For more than fifteen years I have been working on the development and preservation of the italian heritage, but I recently started to be involved in the projects and production of cultural events.
Through the classical studies I attended and the several professional experiences I had, I was able to deepen the knowledge of several skills: thus I could work for centres of research, public and private institutions, universities and single scholars, artists and cultural operators.
The following lines show the most important experiences I had:
Since 1980 I have been working as a secretary in the Centro Teatrale Mario Apollonio, Rome (President: Prof. Giorgio Veronesi), and managed the organization of theatre, music, dance and visual arts festivals. During the Nineties I have been managing the conservation of historical documents in public Archives, cooperating with the italian Ministero per i Beni Culturali..
Moreover, I have been working side by side with italian film and documentary directors, writing texts for historical documentaries and doing researches on images and musical excerpts in sound and audiovisual archives.
In 2000-2001 I was asked for a consultancy by the Biennale di Venezia; there I worked out a plan for the retrieval of valuable materials and images in the Archivio Storico delle Arti Contemporanee, where documents date from 1895 up to nowadays and record the Biennale activities in the fields of visual arts, cinema, theatre, dance, architecture and music.
In 2001 the Ministero per i Beni Culturali charged me to organize a series of classical music concerts on the occasion of the cultural event «Poets read poets», that took place in many italian libraries.
Since several years I’m in the “Who’s Who” of the Annuario del Cinema Italiano.
In the present days my activity is mostly dedicated to the promotion of classical and popular music performances, of classical and contemporary ballet, of readings and meetings on contemporary literature and poetry, and of visual arts exhibitions. I also manage the organization of international literary prizes and work on specific projects for italian local institutions and foundations.
Since 2004 I am the President and Art Director of the Cultural Association Nuove Tendenze, which I founded.
